Segment: The Sunset Strip Has Always Been a Little Bit Dangerous
About the Project:

- Project: Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood Augmented Reality Promotional Site
- Role: Narrative Producer
Setting the stage for Tarantino’s ninth film, this promotional site connected the real locations of the movie with their historical underpinnings — providing a tool for fans to visit the locations of the story and dive deep into the lore of the feature film.
My Contribution
As Narrative Producer, I pitched over a dozen segment ideas to the client, researched and authored the selected scripts as well as all site copy, coordinated with Getty images to research and select the dozens of historical images and clips used in these segments, and worked hand-in-hand with the Creative Director to develop the visuals for the segments and intro sizzle, as well as overseeing the voiceover recording sessions. On a personal note, I got to read the Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood feature script mere inches away from the racks of the raw camera footage from the film — all in the cozy bungalow that was Tarantino’s editing facility.
