About the Project:

A man works in a thankless office. He is officious and stiff. One day, out of nowhere, a squishy black blob flies through the window and proceeds to slowly eat him alive. His fellow workers are annoyed at all the racket he is making — antics ensue, including bumbling police officers, clerks and office managers. A good time is had by the audience, but not by the poor man, who is ultimately consumed.
My Contribution
This film inspired my company name and reflects my admiration for the surreal themes and dark sensibilities of giants like Franz Kafka and Kazuo Ishiguro. I wrote, directed and edited this film. I had a blast working with the actors, shooting in black and white, using special effects for the goo, having the man’s hand fall off, finding the outdated props and dressing the set — and creating a utterly foreign and absurd world for us all to play in.
