About the Project:

  • Client: Eaten Alive Productions/StampleVision Productions
  • Collaborator: Greg Zymet
  • Project: Apartment 206
  • Role: Producer

A compelling short film that is reminiscent of The Twilight Zone. Two victims of a traffic accident wake up in a mysterious apartment — outside the front door is a black void. They are dead. Their only connection to the world  is an old television that broadcasts the ongoing journey of the things and people they loved. But how can they escape this ethereal prison? Only by facing their darkest fears, together. It is at its heart, a tale of human connection.

My Contribution

Greg is a passionate filmmaker who puts his entire creative essence into his filmmaking. As well as being an expert craftsmen, he is an excellent storyteller. As producer, I made a few solid contributions to the script and worked to set the stage for Greg so that he could fully realize his vision. My mantra that the producer’s job is to “make the film better” began with this project. With Greg and my combined talents, we produced an excellent, meaningful and award-sweeping film with the highest of production values.
