A Ken Burns-style exploration of document that is the Declaration of Independence, both the first printed version and the hand-written signed version with its famous “John Hancock” signature..
My Contribution:
This segment required extensive research on the history of the Declaration of Independence as well as diving deep into public domain imagery suitable for this piece. I wrote the copy for the piece, edited and selected music for this segment which aired on New Year’s Day 2026.
