Segment: The Pandas Are Back at the San Diego Zoo

A day at the San Diego Zoo basking in the cuteness of pandas. Bamboo is consumed and pandas step one paw forward towards sustainability.
My Contribution:
The shoot required an early call time to see the Pandas at their most active, and the wrangling of Mark and his family across multiple interviews. Access to the pandas was the same as the public, so we had to be sure to capture as much captivating panda footage as possible. Sadly, Sing Bao, the female panda, just sat at the back of her enclosure, so I had to use a bit of the Zoo’s stock footage to add zing to her introduction. The boy, however, was all over the place and we capture plenty of bamboo-eating for camera.
