Segment:  Sizzle Clips of Facial Recognition Videos

About the Project:

  • Client: FaceFirst, Inc.
  • Collaborator: William Tyree
  • Project: B2B Corporate Videos
  • Role: Creative Producer

A series of B2B corporate videos designed to allay fears about face recognition technology and simultaneously instill fear that not using this product would leave potential clients in the dust.

My Contribution:

These clips highlight my work as Creative Producer. I worked very hard to keep the focus on human issues and avoid the sandtrap of becoming enamored with high-tech wireframes and flashing lights. Fortunately, I was working with an excellent VP of Marketing, William Tyree, who encouraged this approach. As Creative Producer, the production company ran all scripts, storyboards, casting, voiceover work and creative decisions through me. I oversaw the shoots and created or supervised all of the motion graphics, providing a clean, but not overly technical feel. I also created any physical graphics used on the sets, including signage that helped transform the Pauley Pavilion sports area  into an airport.
